History
This breed is one of the oldest that exist of sheepdogs, it arose in Wales, in the United Kingdom. Although there are no certainties of its origins, there are several interesting theories of its beginnings, such as, for example, that they descend from the dog used by the Visigoths that were introduced to Wales in the 9th century by the Vikings. It is believed that the descendant of that race was the Welsh Corgi Cardigan, which when crossed with the Nordic dogs brought by the weavers at the end of the 11th century, gave rise to the Welsh Corgi Pembroke.
Their great herding abilities won them the appreciation of all Wales, their small size allowed them to get under the large animals they cared (cows, horses or sheep), and bite their legs if they deviated from the course. طريقه لعب البوكر
It was only around the year 1925 when the breed standard was decreed, although only 9 years later, in 1934, it was decided to definitively separate the 2 varieties of Welsh Corgi Pembroke and Cardigan. The latter saw its popularity diminished after the division, currently the Pembroke variety enjoys a very good popularity in Europe and the United States.

Feeding
Being overweight, while not good for any animal, is worse in the Pembroke Welsh Corgi than in the rest. This is because it is an animal that has an elongated shape and being overweight causes pressure on its short legs. When the excess weight reaches an already exaggerated point, they even have problems moving around, not to mention if there are stairs at home. These problems can appear in females who become pregnant with multiple puppies. It is necessary to accompany the animal during pregnancy and to control its feeding well so as not to worsen the mobility problem.

Health:
They are a fairly active breed, with a good life expectancy of 11-14 years. Even so, it is prone to several diseases, which we will explain below:
Hip dysplasia
It is developed in most cases by a hereditary malformation. When this problem appears, what happens is a displacement of the hip that tends to cause intense pain and lameness in the animal. Dogs that are affected by this disease tend to have difficulty performing common activities such as walking, running, jumping, climbing a ladder, and even lying down or sitting down. In more advanced cases or those that have not been treated, dysplasia can completely incapacitate the animal. لعبة بوكر حقيقية
Obesity
This is a problem in itself, and also causes or increases many other risk factors for the breed's health. We must monitor our dog's weight every month and try not to give it any treats or food for humans. Many times the attachment or their sympathy makes us want to "pamper them", but we must be aware of the problems that this could cause.
waterfalls
It occurs when a partial or total opacity of the lens of the eye occurs. The opacity causes the light to scatter inside the eye and cannot be focused, creating blurred or diffuse images. It is one of the main causes, which if not treated leads to blindness. It is treated by surgery.
Von Willebrand disease
This disease is caused by the lack of a clotting factor in the dog's blood. This causes exaggerated bleeding. There is no cure, but it can be treated so that the consequences are milder.
Elbow dysplasia
It is a joint disease that is caused by the poor development of bone tissue that at the beginning will produce arthritis or inflammation in your joints and over time this will transform into osteoarthritis.
