History
The history of the Poodle is old and somewhat confusing, there are three countries that claim its origin (Germany, France and Russia), without a clear consensus on which of these countries is right, we are based on the most accepted theory that we will describe to continuation.
The poodle descends from the Barbet, a breed of spaniel that was imported by Spain and Portugal from Africa until it arrived in France in the 8th century, where the origin of this breed began. Their task was to recover the already hunted waterfowl that had fallen into the water, especially swans, geese and ducks (hence their name).

Glaucoma
It is an eye disease, which pathologically increases intraocular pressure.
Gastric torsion
Basically, the stomach folds back on itself and does not allow its emptying, causing multiple damage to the pancreas and kidneys. This can cause the death of the animal if it is not treated in time. Therefore it is advisable to give small portions of food several times a day instead of a single large portion.
Hip dysplasia
It is developed in most cases by a hereditary malformation. When this problem appears, what happens is a displacement of the hip that tends to cause intense pain and lameness in the animal. Dogs that are affected by this disease tend to have difficulty performing common activities such as walking, running, jumping, climbing a ladder, and even lying down or sitting down. In more advanced cases or those that have not been treated, dysplasia can completely incapacitate the animal.
Obesity
Keep in mind that they love to eat, especially unhealthy things, so you have to be careful not to spoil them too much because they can easily become overweight.

Poodle Grooming
The poodle is groomed daily to maintain the good condition of its hair, but it is so abundant that it requires a lot of care. It should be combed daily or at least 3-4 times a week; In addition, you have to cut your hair approximately every 2 months. The bath is recommended every 30 days, to keep the hair clean and help it not to tangle.
Poodle's biggest health problems are usually the eyes and ears. The poodle has a special predisposition to suffer from otitis because it has a very narrow ear canal, so it is necessary to keep the hair short and the ear canal as clean as possible.
As for their eyes, it is a breed that, due to the dirt that penetrates them, usually has vision problems in old age. That is why it is also very important to keep your hair short in the eye area.
Poodle diet
Two very important issues must be taken into account, first that it is a breed with a high level of energy, so it will be necessary to give it a feed that is rich in proteins and minerals. And, in addition, it must be remembered that he suffers from gastric torsion, so you have to feed him several times a day, but always giving him small amounts of food. Nor should you ignore the issue of obesity, you should not spoil your poodle by giving him food for humans or dog treats in excess.

Thanks for your contribution Monica !! we will take it into account to update the note
I loved the note, I would also like you to talk about the issue of pregnancy and childbirth (I know that it goes from the subject of the definition of a poodle itself, but it is very interesting) such as talking about gestation time (although always be the same in all breeds) about the approximate number of puppies, etc.
I loved it anyway, I congratulate you!
We are working on a note about it Pedro, I hope to have it ready soon! Thank you!
